Corona is the 2S neighborhood ripper. Quiet enough to fly anywhere, anytime, without drawing attention. It gets the most stick time in the fleet because it doesn’t ask permission.

Originally specced with 1103-class motors per the frame designer’s recommendation. Two were smoked on the bench at full throttle within seconds; flights ended in crashes within a minute as motor resistance climbed under heat. The build was rescued by stepping up to RCInPower’s 1204 (a 12mm stator on a frame designed for 11mm), which finally unlocked what the chassis could do.

Corona was built as one half of a matched pair. Its twin, Smolder, caught fire mid-flight when its 12A AIO let go. Corona kept flying. Any future build on this frame should step up to a 20A or 30A AIO for headroom. The 1204s have the appetite for it.
